Bringing Business Education to the Classroom
JA High School Leaders
JA High School Leaders enables high school students to take a leadership position as an educator for the day. High school volunteers teach K-5 students, providing a strong foundation for making informed decisions later in life, as well as sound money management. Through partnerships with organizations such as JROTC, FBLA, and other student groups, this program encourages teamwork for students to become experts around these valuable concepts while also enhancing their communication and creative thinking skills.
JA Foundations facilitates a partnership between elementary and high schools within their district feeder pattern. The program engages K-5 students in a half day of experiential learning reinforcing social studies learning objectives. Elementary students are introduced to financial literacy through JA provided Common Core aligned curriculum delivered by high school volunteers in the JA High School Leaders program.
