Overall responsibility for managing JA programs in association with in-class and the JA Discovery Center that deepen the JA experience and strengthen the JA brand. JA of Georgia is focused on transforming secondary education (6th – 12th grades) by providing relevant, authentic and experiential learning opportunities. This position will be responsible for executing JA’s educational vision through programmatic initiatives implemented in partnership with local schools and school districts.
Develop and maintain program calendar that aligns with organizations strategy and achieves goals for region.
Effectively coordinate implementation of programs based on established processes and standards, including multi-week and single day events, to maximize student learning and engagement.
Facilitate interactive and engaging training for participating educators and provide ongoing program support.
Recruit and train required number of volunteers to coach students through JA program experiences using their own personal experiences in the context of the program.
Manage administration of program evaluation instruments (i.e. pre/post surveys, teacher surveys, etc.) and analyze results to inform business practices.
Secure required forms regarding program registration, volunteer information, program verification, etc., and maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all programs in BCRM database to track progress towards goals.
Manage inventory and distribution of student and teacher program materials.
Monitor budget related to program implementation and stewardship of teachers and volunteers.
Coordinate with Development team to ensure programmatic alignment with funding.
Develop, document and share best practices with peers, and demonstrate resourcefulness and adaptability to provide solutions to unexpected obstacles.
Ability to travel 25%-30%, promote JA brand and programs to public that support growth into new markets.
Deliver a best-in-class experience to all students, teachers, and volunteers that participate in the JA programs.
Build affinity with schools and district partners by demonstrating a strong return on investment for programs.

Required: Bachelor’s degree; with 3 + of broad-based education/business/management experience; strong sense of K-12 educational landscape in US and Georgia; customer-service oriented; relationship builder/demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization; unwavering integrity and a strong work ethic.
Preferred: Facilitation, coaching and/or training experience; exhibited program and project management skills; experienced with data collecting and analyzing trends to improve performance.
