John Hancock is the President and CEO of Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia. He has been with JA since 1995, serving as President of JA of Oregon for 18 years prior to his current role. John is also active with several national JA committees and helped to establish JA in Tanzania.
In addition to his professional work, John is an active volunteer and board member. He holds a BA in Political Science from Whitman College, an MA in Public Affairs from Indiana University, and an MA in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum, a graduate of the Aspen Institute’s Fellowship for America’s Emerging Nonprofit Leaders, and a member of Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2022.
