Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. By bridging the business and education communities with hands-on experiential programs focused on business, entrepreneurship, civic responsibility, career-readiness, and financial literacy, JA aims to achieve the following overarching goals:

JA of Georgia is the local affiliate of JA USA, the nations’ oldest and largest economic education organization with over 105 years of experience. The organization has office and program locations in Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Cumming, Dalton, Savannah, CSRA, and Morrow.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and device management. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless technology operations for our students and staff.
Device Management & Administration
Manage and support iPads and computers utilized in JA programming at multiple sites across the state of GA
Monitor and maintain endpoint devices through established remote monitoring and management system platforms
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot devices across multiple locations
Perform device provisioning, updates, and lifecycle management
Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking
Technical Support
Provide frontline technical support to 100 staff members across the state of Georgia
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including email, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications
Respond to support tickets and requests in a timely and professional manner
Document issues, resolutions, and contribute to a support knowledge base
Onsite Support & Travel
Travel as needed to seven locations throughout Georgia to provide hands-on technical assistance
Conduct occasional overnight travel as needed for extended support projects or urgent issues
Perform on-site equipment setup, installations, and repairs
Deliver basic technology guidance to end users
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with staff to understand technology needs and provide effective solutions
Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Escalate complex issues appropriately when necessary
Participate in team meetings and contribute to IT initiatives
Qualifications: Skills, Education & Experience
Technical Skills
Experience with Jamf School or similar mobile device management (MDM) platforms
Proficiency with Pulseway or similar remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and related services
Familiarity with iOS and Windows operating systems
Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
Experience & Education
2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related technical role strongly preferred, relevant work experience in a similar setting can offset this requirement
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Experience supporting educational technology environments is a plus
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between locations
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Georgia with occasional overnight stays
Flexibility to adjust schedule for occasional after-hours or weekend support needs
